I’ve been currently experimenting with different mediums. This is by far my current favorite. I love that it forces me to simplify, and slow down.
In February 2019, I did a 10 day series highlighting important historical figures that I felt weren’t highlighted as much as Rosa Parks, or Harriet Tubman. Instead I talked more about people like Madam CJ Walker, the first female self made millionaire, or Ron Stallworth, the man who single-handedly duped the KKK. This series really inspired me, there are so many amazing people doing amazing things we don’t know about.
My most recent digital works, inspired by movies, celebrities I admire, or vintage photography!
What originally started as a favor for a friend turned into something I really enjoy doing! Using Posca Paint Pens and a very limited color palette, I try to capture their furry essence with a pop art flair!
My most recent gouache paintings, I’ve been currently experimenting with color moods, how many different ways can I express I miss you?
My wonderful friends in the graphics department of The Rock Church, San Bernardino had recently updated their work space, and asked me to create a chalk mural for their new space!
